Privacy policy
This statement explains how Point équilibre processes your data when you book appointments online.
Data controller
The data controller is Point équilibre, Dixie Cantorique, Hotelgasse 6, 3011 Bern.
What data we process
At registration: name, email address, and optionally phone number and preferred language. For bookings: the chosen massage type as well as the date and time of the appointment.
Purpose of processing
The data is used solely to manage your account, carry out appointment bookings and send confirmation and cancellation emails.
Booking without an account
If you book without an account, we process your name, your email address and – if provided – your phone number to reserve the appointment, send you the confirmation link and carry out the appointment. To prevent abuse, we also store an encrypted check value (hash) of your IP address that changes daily – never the IP address itself. If you don’t confirm the appointment, the reservation expires after a short time. Your details are kept together with the booking and deleted with it according to the applicable retention periods; on request earlier, unless a legal obligation prevents this.
Cookie-free visitor analytics
To understand how the website is used, we count page views without cookies or any other storage on your device. Neither your IP address nor an identifier is stored, and no profile is created. Only daily totals are recorded: which page, where the visit came from (e.g. a search engine or a link with a campaign tag), device type based on window width, and country. The totals are deleted after 25 months. If your browser sends “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control, you are not counted.
Processors
We use carefully selected service providers: Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (email delivery) and Vercel (hosting). Data may be processed on these providers' servers.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and delete your data. To do so, contact the address given below.
